Vampire Academy Banned in Texas

Yep, you heard right folks, Richelle Mead’s popular Vampire Academy series is now officially banned in Texas. While the novel has only been banned in one school district, we here at yaReads find this rather astonishing.

umm… WHY? Jeez. I honestly can’t recall anything offensive about those books. It’s FICTION! Isn’t America meant to be the ‘Land of the Free’ and shizz? The people responsible seriously need to find something useful to do with their time…
