I received a book in the mail today called Skeleton Creek, by Patrick Carman. Check it out:

Carman calls it “cross platform storytelling” because he uses video footage, as well as text to tell his story. I haven’t started reading yet, but he assures me there are passwords offered to the reader throughout the text so you can access the required videos on Skeleton Creek’s website.

Personally, I think this is a really innovative concept and I can’t wait to start reading. Keep your eyes peeled for a review over the next few days.

Author of the series, Richelle Mead, is running her first ever poll over on her blog. She wants to know if you like the name she chose for a new character in the next installment. The name, by the way, is Sydney. I’m a fan, but I’m an Aussie, so i’m probably a little biased.
