I’m a librarian who attended a private screening of New Moon last night and it blew Twilight out of the water. The cast look so much better the acting was better, you can really tell the budget made a huge difference in creating the world of New Moon. I am very please to say (as a Team Jacob fan) that the onscreen chemistry between Bella and Jake was so much steamier and intense…yummy, yummy, yummy! The fans are going to be thrilled…yeah there are difference from the book. There are WAY too many “almost” kiss scenes between Bella and Jacob but each time I got chills!
I just watched it and I can even explain how awesome it was compared to twilight. If I’m reading the books I’s team Edward but with this movie I HAD to change my mind. I’m in freaking love with Jacob but even more with his best friends! The are yummy and even though they were shirtless a little to much it was still enjoyable. Oh my it wasn’t good enough for me to go to the theaters again and see it but I WILL consider buying the movie…well maybe.
New Moon = Complete Awesome!
Seriously, I wasn’t expecting much from this movie; I love ‘Northern Lights’ by Philip Pullman and was not thrilled with the movie. Also, as a consummate Edward lover, ‘New Moon’ has always been my least fave. But it was fantastic! Adore ‘Twilight’, but the movie annoyed me; too much merging of scenes and cuts. I’m not sure if New Moon was so true to the book because it wasn’t as content heavy or what, but I was glued to the seat (I wouldn’t even leave to pee). & When I came out, there was a line the whole way down the hall for the next showing, half an hour later! Utter madness. =)
