Hi everyone!!!

I am SO EXCITED to introduce our new team member, Pavan! Learn more about her below!!! Welcome to the team!!!!

PavanTell us a little bit about yourself

I’m currently 19 years old living in Sydney, Australia. I’ve loved reading since I was a young girl and don’t have plans to stop any time soon! I am the middle child in my family, with one older sister and one younger brother. I also have an adorable dog named Max.

Fave YA book?

Picking one book is extremely difficult since it seems to change every time I read an amazing book! One constant though is Harry Potter. Any book in the HP series can be my favourite depending on my mood. However I also absolutely ADORE Poison Study by Maria V. Snyder (I’m not quite sure if this is considered YA or not)-if you haven’t read this book yet DO IT.

Fave YA couple?

One YA couple that will always be a favourite of mine is Taylor Markham and Jonah Griggs from On The Jellicoe Road by Melina Marchetta. If you have not read this book I would seriously recommend adding it to your TBR!!

Fave book to movie adaptation?

Ok so book to move adaptions have been pretty hit or miss with me. Other than the obvious Harry Potter love that I have, one of my all time favourite adaptions is Looking for Alibrandi. The novel by Melina Marchetta has been a long time favourite and the movie was just filled with amazingness! Yes there were differences from the book but I still felt that connection with Josie and just loved every minute of it.

Fave author?

JK ROWLING! Other than the queen, I am also a HUGE fan of Melina Marchetta.

What is your Fave genre?

My favourite genre has to be Young Adult High Fantasy. That is my number 1. but I also really enjoy most genres within the YA umbrella.

Where can we typically find you on a Saturday night?

On  a Saturday you could typically find me reading a book, watching a movie or catching up on TV shows. Or working on an assignment from University that I have left to the last minute-oops!
