*waves* Hi there!
So, the last time I interviewed you it was for Breaking the Reins. Now, we’re focusing on Soul Oath. Can you tell us a little bit about Soul Oath?
Soul Oath is the sequel of Destiny Gift. It follows the story of Nadine, Victor, Micah, and Ceris, and some other characters … and I can’t say much more without revealing big things from the end of Destiny Gift 😉
How difficult was it to write a contemporary book and then transition to a fantasy/paranormal type of book?
It is, a little. And now I’m back to contemporary! And then I’ll go back to fantasy 😉 It’s my life …
Soul Oath is the 2nd book in the Everlast series. How many books are you planning to write in this series? Will it be a typical 3 book series or are you planning on taking it further than that?
The plan was a trilogy from the beginning, though there’ll be a novella from Micah’s POV between book #2 and #3.
Also, there is possibility for a spin off – but I won’t think about that right now.
If you could hang out with any character from any of your books, who would you choose and why?
Tough choice. Leo or Micah LOL
Well, I like Bia too. Can I pick, like, all of them?
Did any music inspire you when you were writing Soul Oath?
Young and Beautiful by Lana Del Rey. I think it describes how Nadine’s feelings toward Micah develop along the novel.
What was your favorite scene to write?
The kissing scene *wink wink*
I’m literally writing this interview one day after Allegiant by Veronica Roth came out. So, I have to ask….what faction would you belong to?
I’m not as brave as I want to think I am, but as a fiction character, I would have to choose Dauntless 😉
What are the next 5 books on your TBR pile?
Ha! I have over 300 unread books on my kindle! I never know what I’m going to read next. I just open my kindle and browse through, hoping something will spark some feeling …
Thanks for stopping by!
Thank you for having me!
To discover if she’s losing her mind, Nadine follows the vague directions—with the real, rude and reluctant Victor—leading to a man who knows it all: Nadine can restore an ancient creed by unveiling the clues on her visions, and bring sunlight and peace to the world again. But that’s only if the demons and the other evil forces behind the darkness don’t stop her first.
Sequel of Destiny Gift (Everlast #1) – contains spoilers:
It’s been three months since Nadine last heard from Victor, Micah or Ceris, allowing her to concentrate on her own life. But until Victor and Micah find the scepters that will restore them as true gods, their human bodies will require her healing touch and it’s only a matter of time until they wreak havoc on her life again.
As if to prove that, Victor shows up at the hospital dragging along with him a swarm of demons. Nadine is forced to flee to safety. Despite her attempts to keep her loved ones protected, the demons find her, and they bring her to Imha, the goddess of Chaos.
Now, confronted by her greatest fear, Nadine finds a new motivation. Vengeance. And when seeking revenge, no risk is too great, including her own life.
