In My Mailbox #10

In My Mailbox is hosted by Kristi @ The Story Siren, inspired by Alea and explores the contents of our mailbox on a weekly basis.

I received a gorgeous little package of books this week :)

For Review:

The Vampire Diaries – Stefan’s Diaries Vol. 2: Bloodlust by L.J. Smith
Savvy Chic by Anna Johnson
Between Shades of Gray – Ruta Sepetys (which will be added to my list of books for the debut authors challenge)
Unearthly by Cynthia Hand (not only does it have a GORGEOUS cover but it comes with a recommendation by Richelle Mead!)

Very excited to check them out!

What have I been up to you ask? Well I have officially graduated from college and am a fully qualified fashion designer, yay! We had our graduate runway show earlier in the week which was great fun, and I will share photos once I get a hold of some.

As some of you may have seen on Facebook, from Monday users have been asked to change their profile picture to a cartoon character you loved as a child. It’s a campaign to raise awareness against violence to children, its a great cause and a fun way to get involved.

I’m torn as to which character to use, Anastasia, The Swan Princess and Thumbelina were three of my most favourite movies as a kid (what can I say? I loved princesses) but I also love Dory from Finding Nemo!  Hmmm, decisions decisions. Who will you use?

Is there a book you particularly want to see reviewed? Leave a comment to let me know!

Happy reading!

Great books, as well! I’m really looking forward to reading Between Shades of Grey when it comes out, and I love the show for the Vampire Diaries, so I’m interested to hear your thoughts on Stefan’s Diaries.

  • Totally jealous that you got your hands on Stefan’s Diaries and Unearthly. I got an ARC of Unearthly for my Kindle, but it’s just not the same as having a paperback. Love your blog.
