I agree that the Truth About Forever was my favorite Dessen novel,but Dreamland was so different from her others, and so singularly touching.

Yes, Sarah Dessen is one of the best, but I found “The Truth About Forever” was better. So was “Along for the Ride.” So if anyone liked this book, they should love the others.

It was a good book, but slightly depressing. I had to finish it! But it was hard to read about someone in so much pain. Overall a touching book.

Sarah Dessen remains to be my Favorite young adult author. (For stand alone books anyways) Dreamland impacted me hard, Dessen made it to where I fell in love with Rogerson, I wasn’t reading about Caitlin, I was her. One of my favorite Dessen books. It’s so hard to choose a favorite when it comes to her books.

I agree ten times over with this entire review. This was the third Sarah Dessen book I’d ever read and though I’ve read all of her books since, this one will be my favorite for years to come. Caitlin will always hold a soft spot in my heart.
