The Prologue and Chapter 1 of Radiant Shadows has been released online... And apparently Chapter 2 is due up in a couple of days...

Here's the link...

^^ You'll catch up... Eventually.

So, I quoted these passages from the Most Destructive YA couple? thread because it's specifically Wicked Lovely...

Aislinn and Keenan

See I disagree with that one. I personally love Aslinn and Keenan. Seth annoys me. Sure, I love the character, but when he is with Ash, he just annoys me.

I agree with katie.

I don't think Aislinn and Keenan are destructive. Although I don't want them together, they're actually doing GOOD things by being together.

Good things? I don't know... You have a point but it's just, I hate how Aislinn being pretty much kept under the thumb. It might not be "destructive" in the context of it's effect on the other people or their own people.
I just don't think the relationship works, or should work.

This is confusing me majorly. I think the bottom line just is that I don't like Aislinn/Keenan and I think that in the long run this tentative "alliance" that they have to play out in front of the courts is going to eventually burst. And that it could either be a good or a bad thing but I don't think anything good could come out of it....

Make sense? So in other words, "destructive" isn't the best term to phrase what I mean....

I get what you mean, I think, and I can kind of agree.

I think mine all stems from the fact that I don't like Seth. Ever. I never did even in Wicked Lovely, so to me, Ash could do so much better than Seth.

Sure Keenan is a manipulative king, but everything he does is only done to try and strength his court, a court that has gone without true power for way too long, and Seth is standing in the way of that. I think Keenan has good intentions, even if his methods are sometimes a bit drastic and manipulative.

Interesting...
I haven't liked Keenan from the start.

I find it amusing. The fact that if one relationship has been established in a book/series anyone to come between it I usually automatically hate that character.

Hmmm. I love hearing others opinions.

I don't know what it is, I just don't like Seth. I can tolerate him, but I don't like him.

Slightly jealous....just a bit... =P

I'm looking forward to RS. It's a Dark Court novel, and I love the Dark Court characters more than the Summer Court ones.

The publisher told me I could post my review whenever I want, so diff to Australian publishers - who want you to wait till the release before you do anything of the sort.

I can't wait!

Ahhh I'm excited to read your review. That's awesome. Are they the first American publishers you've had contact with?

And Australian release date is...? I so should know that but I dont.

Hahah April, yep.

And no, we're on board with a number of American publishers. I've already got books waiting for me in Gig Harbor so I can get reading as soon as I touch down.

Ask tegan, as I haven't read it yet and she has. But I assume that, yes, they have, but they're just not focused on much, or at all.

I totally just won this book on goodreads and hadn't even realized until it came in the mail today-signed by Melissa and everything!
I'm so excited lol. And it's so pretty. Unfortunately, I've only read Wicked Lovely in the series and that was years ago, I've been meaning to re-read it for a while and finish the other books. Now I kind of have to.
But, yay! :cheer:

Perhaps they were right putting love into books. Perhaps it could not live anywhere else.

I just finished. It took me FOREVER to get into it but I ended up really loving it.

Love for Irial

Love for Niall

Love for Devlin

I'm VERY interested in what is going to happen in the next book. I honestly can't see how Seth and Ash are going to be able to stay together now...

Well, there isn't anything about Ash and Seth in this one, actually. But other events unfold which lead me to believe that there is just no way that its possible for them.

I could be wrong though. Melissa Marr is kind of a genius and she might swing it somehow

I was kind of pissed with Ash at the end of Fragile Eternity, though. I'm team Seth ALL THE WAY and I kind of think he's just too good for her now.

I want him to find peace and happiness though.
