I'm not sure if she's planning a series or trilogy but it was quite obvious why they couldn't/wouldn't overthrow the Capitol in book 2. I actually loved the way she ended the book. I'm definately anticipating the next. They're really really really good.

I totally suspected the District 13 thing since the moment it was mentioned. It reminded me a little of The Smoke in Scott Westerfeld's Uglies series.

It totally reminded me of The Smoke too. I didn't look at it that way, though. Probably should have, but there was so much going on. I didn't see the District 13 thing until that one scene in the place with the people and the cookie. Wow...it's hard not to give away any spoilers. I'm so used to using spoiler tags in the other board I'm in.

I finally read this series!! I saw it all the time in Wal-Mart and was a little apprehensive about paying 16 bucks for the Hunger Games but I finally bought it, LOVED it, and read Catching fire. Finished both in one day.

I want Katniss to be with Gale =( I love the idea of taking over the Capitol, but it was kinda rude to leave Katniss out of the sceme when she was the fire to it all....

Who needs Edward Cullen when you have Ash Redfern?

And also when they are visiting district 11 and the old man gets shot. When katniss goes inside and hears 2 more gunshoots and thinks it is rue's parents. Do you find out who it it

Excellent that you're reading this. I'm going to move your discussion to the Catching Fire thread, okay?

I'm with Strigoi. CF will just blow you away. Trust us.
It's fanfreakingtastic and I've read it over and over!

I finally got around to finishing this...OMFG!!! SO GOOD! Poor Peeta...I adore him more than ever. And Katniss...she goes through so much. I cannot wait for Mockingjay.

I'm more Team Peeta than ever. Gale is great and all...but as a friend. And I think that Katniss is finally realizing that it's ok to give into her feelings. The end is absolutely heartbreaking, and those kisses on the beach...swoon.

Pure genius once again from Suzanne.
