I've heard that the Dark Swan series are some of the best books ever. I need to read those.

You'll make it! Are the LKH grphic novels good? I have never been a big fan of graphic novels, but I have read the Anita Blake series.

All that matters is that you're reading!

I'm curious...are you just reading LKH graphic novels or have you read the actual book? I'm sure the graphic novels are great, but if you haven't read the actual books then you REALLY need to.

I've never been a huge fan of graphic novels either, but I haven't really read any up till this quarter of school. I just did my project (I presented yesterday) on graphic novels in k-12 schools. Right now I'm reading a graphic novel called MAUS, which is a book about the Holocaust where the mice are the jews and the cats are the Nazis. It's actually really good so far. So, maybe I do like graphic novels. Who knew?

Yes, I have read the books! ... I loved the first 10 or so, then they started going down hill, havn't decided if I'll read the latest one yet... don't know if I'm quite ready to give up on the series, but the last few have been very disappointing!

I like the graphic novels! mainly because it's a quicker than re-reading the books and it's a bit new and different! ... I'm not so keen on the art style though... Jean-claude is just not attractive in them... which is blasphemy!! lol.

I'm currently like half way through Obsidian Butterfly. Really good..but it's taking me awhile because I'm still pretty Anita Blaked out. I heard that they get really sexually graphic later on, though.

They made Jean Claude ugly!? He's the best character!!!!

well, I guess they didn't do it on purpose... I just don't find their depiction of him attractive

yeah, Anita goes from being celebate in the first few books to having orgies with randoms, lol.

well a lot of them become regulars, but yeah sometimes it's just with whoever happens to be in the room, because of the Ardeur (don't know if you've got up to that)... she has to have sex or she'll drain the life out of the guys in her triumvirate and then die herself (I think that's it anyway, it's been a few books since they explained that stuff) ... and basically anyone nearby when it happens gets majorly turned on.

Finished City of Lost Souls! The first half was pretty slow, but after the antique shop scene things picked up and got exciting! Can't wait for the next one... Definitely hope Jace gets to play the hero in the next one though!

Just finished Biting Cold... I don't think this one was my favourite of the series, but definitely enjoyed it!! I do think that Mallory got off very lightly though...

The whole thing with Mallory kind of ticked me off. I mean...I wanted more to happen with her..and I thought that she was taken care of VERY early in the book. I also wasn't a big fan of the Tate twist.

Biting Cold was amazing...not my fave in the series...but I enjoyed it[=
