I just finished reading The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton. It was a fantastic book. I loved everything about it. It kept me quite enthralled with the book. I wasn't expecting it to have such an impact. It had even more of an impact when I realized it was based on a true story. Anyone who is looking for a good read try this.

I would definitely recommend it. It is a classic too. So, if you are ever stuggling for a conversation starter just bring up this book.

By the way, I love your picture. I don't know what it is called, but it is under your writing. It is fantastic.

Caseyjarryn: It is absolutely gorgeous. I love the whole idea of the picture too. I don't know how artistic people are abe to create something like that.

Laurenb: Thank you. I am a pretty fast reader. I didn't know that the Outsiders was a movie too. I will have to check it out. So, thank you again.

I read The Outsiders in, I think it was grade 7 (I don't remember the exact grade) for a novel study, then after we were finished, we got to watch the movie. I loved them both, and that was back when I hated reading books (I started loving reading books when I was in grade 10).

And you're a fast reader I'm only on my 8th book so far, and you did 209 books last year? That's a lot, I couldn't even get to 83.

My most favourite book series is Vampire Academy.
I love the tv shows: Charmed, The Vampire Diaries, Modern Family, etc.

I also love manga and anime a lot.

@ Nazish01: Thank you very much. I liked the Outsiders. I will have watch the movie; is it as good as the book?

@ Caseyjarryn: I thought Guilty Pleasures was a great book. I am reading the 2nd in the Anita Blake series. It is a bit bloody though. Regardless though, it was a great book. I was super happy with it. The novel never had me bored and always kept me on my feet. If you are looking for a good read I would read this book.

Holy ...... How the heck do you read so FAST?!

on another note: Yes, I have read the Anite Blake Series (note to others: it's an adult series...REALLY good!) I stopped after book 8 though. or book 7. I was just about to go into the book about Edward? Was that his name? I got a little Anita Blake'd out. Those are some intense books. I also heard that Anita turns into a slutty character and that the books kinda plummet later in the series.

I agree with Nichole...how do you read that fast?! Do you just skim the novel or do you actually read all the words because that is INSANE! I could really get through my To-Read list if I could read as fast as you. Haha. :)

I usually read all the words. I have alot of free time. I just tend to read really fast especially when I find a series I like, just so I can see what happens next. Thank you though. :)

Nicole: Yes, she does kind of. Someone told me that too and it put me off reading the series for a bit. It is different though, I don't think I can explain it. I would still read the series if I were you. Once you get into it again, you understand more. It was a great series.

That's nuts. My aunt's the same way, though. I can give her a stack of like twelve books and they'll be read in a week. It would take me a couple months to be able to go through what I give her on a weekly basis.

I definitely want to continue the series. I've actually been thinking about picking them up again, but I have so many books to get read for review. Maybe soon. Keep up the good work, though. Your list is always fun to look at.

I am glad I am not alone. Then I know people who I can give a book and in tree months they will be on chapter 6. I think it is more about free time.

I never seem to have enough books to read so I am always looking for more. Do you do book reviews? I would love to read them. Where would I find them?

Thank you. I find your list intriguing too. Everytime I check back I can find at least one book I want to read. :)

That keeps you updated on what I'm reading, where I'm currently at in a book and what's coming next.

As a side note: I've taken a look at your book choices, and I have a few recommendations. Have you read The Mercedes Thompson series by Patricia Briggs or The Casey Palmer series by Karen Chance? Those are very similar to Keri Arthur, Kim Harrison and Laurel K. Hamilton. You might like them if you haven't already read them!

Your reviews are awesome! They feel like they are professionally written. I was on the website and just watched the Breaking Dawn Part 2 teaser trailer and now I am a little hyped about that. :) I will have to check back on that website more often.

I read the first in the Mercy Thompson series. I am starting the second soon, hopefully. It wasn't my favourite, neither was the Keri Arthur or Laurell K. Hamilton at first. I haven't read the Casey Palmer series, unfortunately they aren't at my library, so I will have to wait till I have had a chance to buy one, I've heard good things about both series. I have only read one Kim Harrison book though, it was okay, not my favourite. Have you read anything else by her that you enjoyed?

Thanks for the suggestions! I am always open to more. I seem to always be running out of good books to read. :)

Wow! It hasn't even been half a year yet and you're already done, that's amazing. Are you going to continue counting and see how much you read in this whole year?
If I could read as fast you, I probably would have been done half of the books on my tbr list (I have a lot of free time, but I'm not a very fast reader).

I'm back! I haven't been on for months, though it feels like years. I just spent an hour putting in all the books I've read and I just capped 200! :) So, I reached my goal.

My local library has been closed for renovations and I found this cool new app on my iPod called WattPad. It's where you post your book and people read it. So, like 34 of my books are from there and I don't know if this counts. I only posted up the ones I read that were over 100 pages trying to be fair... but I am still unsure.

I really hope it's okay because if not I have to go book crazy to read 34 prior to New Year's.

Anyways, I'm back. I missed it here. :)
