Juliet Immortal - Stacy Jay

Has anyone read it?

I was worried it would ruin Romeo and Juliet for me.... but alas, I actually really loved it :)

I have read this book and I liked it very much! It was an awesome book. One of my friends read the ending first and thought based on that it would be too hard to follow or not interesting at all but Stacy Jay definitely proves her wrong! It was very good. It was interesting to see the play on Romeo and Juliet.

Yeah ... I really enjoyed it.

The Juliet character bothered me a little, but i'm pretty critical these days.

I hate that Romeo was a psychopath.

Yeah the Romeo character was a little disturbing.

It makes sense, though. I understand why they made him that way, and I can actually see parallels between psychopath Romeo and Shakespearian Romeo.

I thought it was awesome that she ended up with Benvolio, though i'm sure the purists are going to HATE that twist.
