The Perks of Being a Wallflower

Is being mad into a film! :) ... it's been so long since I read the book I'm going to have to re read it!

Emma Watson will be in it! :)

Full cast on IMDB: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1659337/

I think they are only just about to start filming, so it won't be out until next year, but I'm looking forward to it! :)

Oh wow, Stephen Chbosky (the author of the novel) is writing the screenplay, and is also Directing!! ... hopefully that means it will be good, of course who knows how good he'll be at directing!

Oooh, I would so watch this when it comes out. And Paul Rudd's playing Bill! :cheer: I really did like the book. It's the kind of story that can easily be transferred to film, and well done, too.

Just finished rereading the book and am even more excited for the movie - like you say Lady Disdain, it seems like the kind of book that could be easily made into a fantastic movie! I wonder how they'll do it? Will they just show Charlie writing/posting letters every now and again?? It will be interesting to see.

I've never even heard of this, but it looks interesting. It looks like one of those movies that will either be good or will be really boring. I'll probably watch it when it comes out on dvd.
