Did you like Tessa? What did you think about her personality?
Being a Downworlder, do you think she should trust the Shadowhunters to help her? Did you think that was a wise decision?

I thought Tessa was ok. Shes not that exciting of a character. I think she needs to trust them. They havnt given her any reason not to. Her ability is
interesting. I do like how CC describes her transformations. I want to say her pick will be Will. I mean it could be Jem but hes not the obvious pic.
Personally Ill take both.

I like her, Im so intrigued about her origin, Im dying to know how she was made and her future role in the Downworld.
About the boys... she has to end up with Will, it will be hard and with lots of stones in the way, Jem will also be an option and maybe a lover in a
future book but Will is the one she'll pick and I cant wait for that!

I liked Tessa a lot. I thought that given the time setting the book is placed in that she is a strong female role. She likes to be self-sufficient and
doesn't want to seem weak.
I think it will be fine for Tessa to trust the Shadowhunters because Charlotte seems to be very kindred, as does Jem. And each of the other
Shadowhunters have a tie to her.
Tessa's ability must have more to it, I look forward to figuring it out. It would be interesting if eventually she could draw on some ancient power
and change into a different being at her will.
I think that she wants to like Jem more because he is so nice. However, I think that deep down Tessa likes Will and may try to like Jem, but it won't
work out because her heart belongs to Will.

I like Tessa. In that time setting women were not given as much credit, if you would say, as men. Tessa shows the strength of any of the men around
her.
Her power is one of most interest to me, being able to transform into anyone like that, but also able to almost hack into their brain, feeling their
personality, getting to their memories etc. I cannot wait to learn more about her origins and how her power really came to be.
Oh I absolutely adore Jem. Not that Will is not liked, but I'm sort of tried of the bad boys. It's quite obvious that she likes Will, is it not? I
also think it's is obvious that Jem likes her, but it's not 100% requited.
He doesn't get much of a chance in this book, I was ever so disappointed about that, but I think The next one we will see more of him

I agree with everything you said.
I found Tessa kind of boring but it was only the first book so maybe she will grow on me.
And I really hope she picks Will even though he seems to be cruel. I guess Jem is so lovely and always kind to her but will is more dangerous.
