Covert Affairs
Has anyone else watched this series yet? It's actually really good. I just watched the first episode on on demand, and I'm probably about to go watch
the second episode here in a bit. It's on Tuesday's, on U.S.A, from 10-11 p.m. Perfect timing if you have a DVR.
Here's what it's about :
USA Network’s new series “Covert Affairs” was started from 13th July, 2010 at 10:00 pm. The story of Covert Affairs follows Annie Walker whose
character played by Piper Perabo, shown as a CIA trainee who joins the agency still reeling over a strange ex-boyfriend who appears to be of
particular interest to her bosses. Piper Perabo and Christopher Gorham played a lead role in this series. Dough hLiman, Dave Bartis and James Parriott
are executive producer of USA Network’s Covert affairs series. The directors of Covert affairs are Jonathan Glassner and Tim Matheson.

Meh. I watched it and it seemed like an Alias ripoff -- and I didn't even like the show that much.
Plus, the lead was very annoying to me. But I'll give it another chance since it seems like it has potential.

I've never watched Alias, so I couldn't really say.
I watched the first two episodes today, and they were both really good. I'm also a really big fan of Piper P. You should definitely give it another
chance. However, if you didn't like the first episode, and find Piper P annoying, you just might not like the show at all.

I watch it. I agree it seems like an alias ripoff at first, but less on the intense part.
Piper annoys me as well. I like Christopher Gorham, the blind guy. The story is interesting so far though.

^ Oh yeah. I really like the blind guy too.
He was great as Henry in Ugly Betty, but I don't think he does a very convincing job of acting blind.

Did he play Henry in Ugly Betty? I didn't even catch on to that.
I actually thought he did very well as a blind guy. Although, I did feel as if he were mocking the part a few times. I'm really interested to see what
they'll do with the ex boyfriend.
EDIT:
Also, as an adult turned blind guy, he's pretty spot on. They would know all the head movements and stuff. If he were playing someone who had been
blind all their life, he would be horrible. But that's not the case.

I was a HUGE Alias fan. That being said, I like Covert Affairs. I like a lot of the stars in it.

It's a spy show. Do you know who Jennifer Garner and Michael Varten are? They were main characters.
Victor Garber played the spy dad - he was in Titanic and some other TV shows.
The best friend was Bradley Cooper (The Hangover).
And one of the bad guys was David Anders (Elena's dad/uncle from The Vampire Diaries).
Two others from the show are in Brothers & Sisters (Balthazar Getty and Ron Rifkin).
It was really good. One of the shows I had to watch LIVE instead of recording
it.
