My new favourite Author!
I have started reading a series called the Noughts and Crosses series by Malorie Blackman and I am LOVING the series. Im on book 3 and I have already
decided it is my new favourite series and Malorie Blackman is my new favourite author. Has anyone read any of her stuff and would like to discuss it
please post here.
Here is the blurb which is quite short.
Callum is a nought - a second-class citizen in a world run by the ruling Crosses...
Sephy is a Cross, the daughter of one of the most powerful men in the country...
In their world, noughts and Crosses simply don't mix. And as hostility turns to violence, can Callum and Sephy possibly find a way to be together? The
are determined to try.
And then the bomb explodes..."
What I like about the series is that instead of writing about the rich and powerful white citizens and the poor black citizens Malorie Blackman
reverses it.
Its a brilliant series and a good read and sorry about my long rant

"Actually Simon said he'll give you the spongebath"- Clary
"as soon as im on my feet handsome"- Simon

Hmm, my friend raved about this book, too. But it seemed very emotionally heavy and serious so I didn't know if i wanted to read it or not. Not that
I don't read serious books but the whole 'romeo and juliet' - coming from different worlds - themed thing didn't appeal to me either

I was going to read it, but then I decided against it D:
