Ah yes i heard about this a while back. I even posted a topic about it ove on The Rath.

I do believe it IS true though.
I heard it from the authors themselves over myspace.
And they gave a link. And yea.

If they do make it im sure itll be a very low budget film and most likely extremely crappy.

I like the books well enough to continue the series to see what happens but i feel like the writing needs major improvement. Some parts are like reading a poorly written fanfic.

a movie? oh god no.

I really didnt like the book. I thought the writing was appalling, the characters were shallow and uninspiring, and the plot was LAME

Ew, a movie based of that book? *shudder* I just don't like this series. I cannot stand the main character.

But the worst part about this is that I will probably go see this if it does become a movie.

I don't mind the books, though I agree the writing style needs to be improved. I don't like all the "hip" words and phrases that seem like they've just been placed in there for the hell of it.

I don't think a movie would do very well. At all.

oh I kinda liked this book. Im almost done w. it I have liek 10 pages left. I cant wait to read the rest because id like to see what happens. Im ok with the shallow characters, i guess im a little shallow myself but nothing wrong with that. I dont like that their so shallow and constantly oogle over boys, but then again that was me at that age too.

I don't think i was ever oogly over boys ROFL. I'm more of a "too many guys out there in the world to waste my time" in situations like competing or whatever. IF a guy thinks i should try win him over, he's not for me

heard a podcast with pc cast. said a movie was in talks. haven't heard anyting definite about a movie, but it was proposed. i will be very happy for the authors if it does become a movie. pc cast is one of my favorite authors. and this series has made her better known and has led to people reading her other books. she is going to hardback in the next one, and with a movie... i'll be very happy for her.

i bet the vampyre tattooes will be cool, at least.

why are they making this a movie and not vampire academy? it's heaps better!
reading this book gave me a headache. i'll read them, because i want to know what happens with all of the menfolk, but really... the writing just killed me.
it's like watching a handheld camera movie, you know how you kind of get seasick? that's how the writing seems. just so eeky and fragmented and not flowy at all. it really annoys me. they talk like 12 year old girls on hormone medication.
but the plot is alright.
wow, that was mean. i'm not usually this mean!

fair enough. let it be known that i do not, in any way, read books for literary value. my continued reading of meg cabot books proves that pretty well... oh shame.
