I love Wuthering Heights. It's my favorite classic. Jane Eyre is pretty good too.

hmm, soo far i think my favourite character is Mr Bennet. He's so calm; he reminds me of my Grandad, coz' my Grandmother is very, hmmmmmmmm,
complicated.
-mr collins is a bit weird (i don't like him; he kisses arse too much)
-mr bingley and jane just don't think about anything but each other (which is sorta sweet)
-mr wickham--there's something about him that just annoys me, anyone else? I know YOU like him Dana.

I've read Wuthering Heights. That's another one that's pretty good.
I should probably reread it though.

never read P&P - i used to hate it - although i really want to now - i was forced to sit through the movie by a friend and it wasn't that bad,
okay it was great.
As for [Censored]ens - i *heart* a christmas carol so much!! I try to read it every year at xmas, but apart from that i really don't
enjoy reading the others - theyre way too depressing
I did try wuthering heights before (I reckon I was 11 when i tried to read it - i read a lot through class that year) - but it was super tough to get
into and i gave up. I don't think I've touched anything similar since
My fav classics are the great gatsby and alice in wonderland- and I'm curious about the movie

P&P is fantastic. Easily my favourite classic of Austen's.
I can't read Wuthering Heights. Can't. I tried for yr12 English, couldn't get past the first 3 chapters. I probably should try again.

My fave Austen (in order) is Northanger Abbey (my Mum says I;m such a Cathy with my over imagination!!), Persuasion, Pride and Prejudice, Emma,
Mansfield Park & Sense & Sensibility.
I love P&P though, as I've stated before. Mr. Collins is definately my favourite character, because he's so hilariously funny in everything he
does. And his portrayl in the televised/film adaptions are always spot on!

I hate the characters in Wuthering Heights. With a passion. Just like Tess of the D'Urbervilles. I hate both books!
