The Runaways
Kristen Stewart is playing a rock star in her new movie:
Twilight star Kristen Stewart just scored a new role playing Rock ‘N’ Roll musician Joan Jett in a biopic about her former band, The Runaways.
Shooting will begin in early 2009 and producers have agreed to accommodate Stewart’s commitment to the Twilight sequel, New Moon, which is also due to
start shooting around the same time. Known as the first all-girl rock band to have number one songs, The Runaways had an all-star line up with Joan
Jett on rhythm guitar and vocals, Lita Ford on lead guitar, Sandy West on drums and vocals, Jackie Fox on bass and Cherrie Currie on vocals and

Well, I think it depends on what kind of character Joan Jett is. if she is supposed to be a seemingly normal, happy person, i dont think Kristen is
gonna pull it off.
But if she's a depressed, screwed up character, then she's perfect for it. She seems good at those roles.

Most 'Rockstar' movies are generally a bunch of pretty screwed up people so it probably would be one of those characters.
She is good at those type of roles isn't she!

Lol I'll be really impressed with her if she pulls this one off. I dunno Kristen just looks so fragile and vulnerable and Joan Jett definitely is
not.

Maybe she's a rock star hidden in an actors body and this is the role she's been waiting for?

there was this one part I just replied like 7 times cause I did not believe that was Dakota Fanning.

Way excited for this movie. I haven't liked K. Stewart in anything I've seen her in yet, but I have a good feeling about this one.

Will most definitly not be seeing this one. I like the concept but i cant stand Kristen or Dakota. So a big no, which is sad, because if it ws other
actors, i would for sure see it. I could barely stomach them in New Moon. I only saw that because i like the books and i was hoping for the best.

I really want to see this, it looks great. And this is more of Kristen's type of role. And Joan was on the set the whole time making sure it was
perfect, so I bet it will be really good!

I want to see this movie..I just dont know how I am going to watch Dakota Fanning be completely the opposite of her innocent self....looks interesting
