Like I said on the other thread, it looks a lot better than I expected.
Way better than the Twilight and New Moon trailers, IMO.

Really Strig? I was just talking with VEE on facebook and we both felt a little underwhelmed by it.
I thought the trailer for New Moon was awesome (and I thought New Moon was awesome).
Eclipse is my fave book in the series so I guess I have high expectations for the film... the trailer seemed kind of disappointing.

I liked it! We've been waiting so long for a trailer And I was just happy to see some footage! Did anyone notice that Rob looks a lot better here than
the other films? We only saw a few seconds of him butstill.
And as for looks go, the new victoria, I am not a fan of.

Me too Anne, I don't think the new Victoria will be nearly as good as Rachelle.
I think Taylor was the standout for me int he trailer.
And man, I've seen ever film Rob's been in and I think he's an awesome actor, but what the hell happens when he does a twilight movie? I don't think
twilight suits his style.

And I agree. I love Robs work, great actor! I think he looks the part but as for this role ehhh. I could see someone else playing it, which I don't
see for Taylor.
I don't think he's horrible but he could do better! Over the course of Twilight and New Moon he did do better, so we will see in Eclipse!

Looks kinda boring. The new victoria is ugly and in books all vampires are meant to be hot. Could they not have just show us a teeny bit of action but
nooooooooo they need to have jacob with his shirt of instead. GRRRR why do they never show any good bits in the trailer. They say more from the book
in this trailer than it does in new moon and twilight.

To me, it just seems as if he's forcing it. In every other role I've seen him in he's owned the role, but for Edward it just isnt working.

Yeah, I guess. I don't know the whole trailer was weird. It didn't leave me feeling excited to watch the movie. New Moon's trailer was the best in my
opinion. After I watched it I really couldn't wait to see the movie.

still not a Taylor fan.
I just don't like him as the part.
as far as trailers go...it wasn't the besssssssst I've seen...but I still really liked him. Probably because I was looking forward to it anyways. They
could have added a lot more though.
I'm still nervous about Bryce (sp?) playing Victoria but the little bit of a shot I seen in that it didn't bug me. Let's just hope those hands don't
freak me out in the movie (referring to one of the stand stills).

I don't really ever recall Bella showing much emotion in the books. To me, she's acting just like the character did.

She was replaced because of scheduling conflicts. That was Summit's official word on the issue anyway. Apparently Rachelle was very upset that she was
replaced.

I didn't think it was all that great. I agree with other people that the New Moon trailer has been the best so far. But I agree with what Feybie said
earlier. It is my favorite book in the series also, so maybe im just setting high expectations. Im excited to go see it, but unlike after I saw the
New Moon trailer, im not more excited to go see it after I saw the trailer.

Guess I'm the only one that liked it. And I'm not even a huge fan of the series.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA NO!!!! I'd say Rob's acting (based soley on what I saw in the trailer) wasn't any better.
I was sold on Taylor in the last one, so in my opinion he doesn't need to get better.
And the snapshots we got from Kristen were too small for me to really tell, but she did look like she was doing that whole stuck and confused thing
very well.

Ok, maybe not Rob's acting... He's still pretty bad as Edward. But Taylor and Kristen did a pretty good job. And so did Dakota.

So you agree that Rob was just wrong as Edward?
I just don't think he suits the role of Edward, or perhaps he just doesn't understand Edward as a character, I don't know. But like I said earlier in
the thread, I've seen ALL his movies and I've loved every single one of his performances, except those in the Twilight films. Everything he does in
Twilight just looks so forced and unnatural.
