I wouldn't say I despise it, as much as I just really dont like it. I didn't like the characters and the way Meyer describes things, mostly.

I totally agree. Here's a message to Steph Meyer: Adding a bunch of big words to a piece of paper DOES NOT make it a bestseller. I mean, let's just
face some cold hard facts. 1. Bella is boring, 2. Edward is gay (face it, in reality, when guys sparkle, there usually gay) 3. and JAKE IS A FRIEKEN

I don't think its quite fair to call anyone gay for the hell of it. No offense but that's kind of judgmental and rude. I guess I could see why someone
would find bella boring though. However I loved her....and all of the books
And again....jake is not a pedo...she made it clear in the books that his feelings changed with her age

Not a fan. I love to read, and I try to keep an open mind, but here's my opinion on it. Twilight is about a girl who falls in love with a vampire, and
when he leaves her she always wants to die, and does really stupid things to get herself killed. Not a good example for younger girls if you ask me.

^I like the example part of your argument, I don't think that case has been made yet.
You're right, it's not really a good example for younger girls (or boys) to read about. I think I have to give that more thought before I further
comment. Hmm..
