Also, where's your quote from?

I never see the end of my tbr list and I like it that way.

VA = Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead: One of my absolute favourites in paranormal YA lit. I have no idea how to sum this up in less than 100 words but I know that Nikki has put up reviews for each of the books on the main site
>>> http://www.yareads.com/vampire-academy-richelle-mead/book-reviews/2...
You mentioned you haven't read about vampires right?
Well VA, in my opinion, would be the best series to start with and another awesome thing about VA is that the vamps aren't typical but they're still considerably evil.
It's also heavy on the forbidden romance.
♥Dimitri♥

12 Edmonstone Street by David Malouf: The book I have to read for lit. It's basically an autobiography which doesn't have much to offer in terms of adventure but is really good to study.

Quote is from Shifters Series by Rachel Vincent: Another one of my absolute faves. This time it's Adult and Paranormal again. I get extremely annoyed at the protagonist but there's so much else to consider in the series that you can't help but fall in love with the different contrasts. (I love love love Marc. Hehe.)
What I love the most about this series is that Faythe (the protagonist) irritates me so much that she makes me question why I feel that way... The series is very controversial, there are plenty of reviews that aren't in favour of it.
It goes without saying but there is sex/violence/blood & gore in the series. If you read it gear yourself for the almost irresistable urge to rant, rave & weep. It's pretty intense.

Honestly, I think it's best to jump in and figure out if you like them for yourself and what you like best. When it comes to talking about my faves I could go on for forever. And quite literally as well.
:)

I'm pretty sure they're usually in romance.I had to ask a shop assistant who found them beside a shelf of those harlequin books...

The next book is out in about roughly six weeks so maybe try again later...?

Just finished MUDBOUND by Hillary Jordan. Awesome book. Not YA, but I think a lot of older YA readers would enjoy it.

Radiant Shadows by Melissa Marr.

IT WAS GOOD!

And Cola, man, SB is excellent. You wont regret it. Her Succubus series is so much better than Vampire Academy. It makes Vampire Academy look like a snore fest.

seriously, you should read them. i started reading them when was 7. and i still love them. it involves fairies, yes, but who cares when they can kill a troll! these fairies are full of attitude and are fantastic chracters for this book.
p.s which cover is it? the one with the gold slab with runes or the one with lots of sillouheted people?

but anyway, they are amazing reads and i think anone who remotely iks fantasy should read them...:)

I def wouldn't say it's better than VA but I only read the first one. I do plan on reading the rest but I thought it was just ok....where I was hooked on VA in the first few pages.

Interesting Nichole. I hated Vampire Academy. It wasn't until the second book that I was actually on board with the series.

really? I was into it within like 2 pages lol. Just holed myself up in my room and didn't come out.

The GK series I really liked it like for most of the book...I did. I didn't LOVE It. but I really started hating the twists and what not and that's what broke me.
