^True. I was getting tired of the screaming girls though. It got annoying. They screamed at every LITTLE thing.

I thought that was REALLY lame.
"Oh bella, you're bleeding. Here let me use my shirt to stop it and all the girls in cinemas world wide can see my abs."
My husband was with me at the time and he looked at me and burst out laughing.
ridiculous.

The part where he breaks it off with her.. in the book i cried but in the movie i felt nothing. she is emotionless, when she is running to the clock
tower and Aro and he friends want to kill edward.. nope nothing there either.. it wasnt deep and it killed it for me. the reast of the movie was
great.. I will see it again for the perve factor alone i think i might have
crossed to team jocob last night.. anyways thats all from me.. what did everyone else think?

I think overall great movie.. I dont think there could be all tears because I think you need to be in bella`s head to get to that depth ..
There is one thing that I dont like .. is the e-mails she kept addressing to Alice .. I didnt like it .. It felt wrong .. because for me Bella shuts
out everything and avoids thinking about them ..
But Taylor Lautner nailed it! Like PERFECT!

I liked the emails, I thought it added a nice touch, because of how they came back saying email address failed. My first initial thought was how many
girls are going to try that email address now?

After my very long New Moon weekend, I'm finally back with many thoughts lol.
First of all, let me preface this by saying I really loved the movie. But I didn't like it better than Twilight. I wouldn't exactly say I liked it
LESS, I just think they're equal for me and it's difficult to compare because they are so so different.
I know a lot of people here had problems with Twilight, but from the first moment I saw Robert and Kristen on screen I felt this insane chemistry
between them. They really brought an energy to this silly story about a girl and a vampire that I loved and the movie itself had an endearing raw-ness
to it that made me forgive the cheap effects and amateur film making.
New Moon was no small intimate amateur film. It was a production. Amazing cinematography, gorgeous shots, sweeping music. Instead of romance, there
was sorrow and friendship. But there was also humor, drama, and suspense. Epic.
Kristen really had Depression-Bella down perfectly. I felt her pain even more than I felt her love in the first one. Her and Rob transformed their
chemistry into this incredible heartbreak. Just like in the book, you really feel his absence in the movie, which was of course the point, but it did
hurt the pacing a little. The film felt longer than it really was because the middle dragged on a bit.
Still, the wolves were amazing and Taylor was great. Even if the shirtless deal was a tad excessive. He particularly shined in the more light-hearted
moments. The movie theater scene had me cracking up. And the ones where him and Bella are just messing around were awesome. Their friendship, although
maybe slightly rushed, was so sweet. However, it also seemed completely un-romantic, which made the almost-kisses kind of awkward. Except the last
one; that's the only moment I really felt any electricity between them, especially after the phone call.
Other than some pacing issues, I thought Chris did a fabulous job. This story was always meant to be on a bigger scale anyways, and all the effects
were done beautifully; from the Victoria/wolves fight, to the cliffdive, to every moment in Italy. I also loved the little details he included, like
the Romeo and Juliet scene and Bella and Jacob talking about their age.
However, I haven't really made up my mind about that ending...
“I’m afraid of falling,” she said. “I have wings,” he whispered.
Perhaps they were right putting love into books. Perhaps it could not live anywhere else.

^ I think Kirsten did a great job .. And she totally nailed Bella for me in this one.. And I think that she added the right amount of intensity to
Bella`s reactions .. and Rob was a great depressed Edward too .. I think the actors all did a great job! And Chris knew exactly how to create the
whole feel of the movie .. It felt right ..
And the Ending was just too abrupt .. I still havent watched it a second time .. and until I do .. I am still undecided..
I am sure the e-mails were a great way of getting Bella`s thoughts .. but they still didnt do it for me .. idk .. because for me Bella completly shuts
out ..

^Oh, me too! I really did love the movie and I'm definitely planning on watching it a few more times in theaters. I just am able to recognize its
flaws, like I could with Twilight, while still fangirl-ing over it at the same time.

^yes I loved the e-mails too. I also am probably one of the few that enjoyed Kristens performance. I really like her during the Volturi scene.

^The critics have mostly been raving about Kristen's performance. One of the only things they've been raving about actually lol. So you're definitely
not alone.

I actually disagree with the critics there. While some parts of Kristen's performance was good, i.e the emails, I don't think she was up to par with
the rest of the cast. For me, she just doesn't simply cut it as Bella. She just seems so...sarcastic in all her actions and dialogue.
