Ok, this is looking promising.

Again, if we were to go ahead with this, we'd need probably around 20-30 definite yes participants. I'm thinking I should probably advertise on the main page too.

When does America start their school holidays in December? We start early December in Australia, so co-ordinating it so that it was actually in the holiday period would be better, I think.

Cool. Australians are on holidays around the same time.

What about our English and European friends. Would this time frame be suitable for everyone?

Would you like to do it before, or after Christmas?

how about after christmas... before christmas can get a bit hectic, and money can be an issue if people want to buy new books to read for it.... not to mention a lot of us will probably get books for christmas, it would be a good way to get them read! :)

I'm liking your idea. What about if we did it directly after Christmas? Like between Christmas and new year?

Or is that still going to be really hectic for everyone?

Would directly after New year be better for all?

Boxing day sounds like a good idea, especially since it's a Saturday.

Boxing day sounds good to me....might have a family lunch or something in the middle of it... but I'll probably need a bit of a break from constant reading anyway! :)

Boxing day is a bit tight, for me. I have big family so the whole week would be spent reunioning.

I like the after new years idea. By then most people would've had time to party hard and eat loads so it would be a relaxing time.... You know morning afterish?

I'm going to the falls festival over new years, which is the 29th through to the 1st, so I won't be able to join if it's then... I like the idea of starting on boxing day or the day after though!

will there be a vote for dates again this time??

Ok guys, to consolidate the information, I've posted something on the main page. Perhaps you could go and post your information regarding the reading party on the main page under the appropriate post.

Link can be found here:

http://www.yareads.com/another-party-for-the-party-season/site-upda...

The party wont go ahead without the required numbers.
