I hated the father... I'm not sure who I hated more the mother or the father... Actually I think the father. It really made me mad that he would help with the baby or anything. I just grrr this man... he makes me so mad.

I was so mad for letting his wife dealing with postpartum depression all by hersel.
I dont think Auden has had a real father.

honestly I feel Auden kinda raised herself... I dont think her mom or dad took a very active role in her life... It seems like all they cared about was Auden being perfect...

Hmm.
It's idk. I got extremly annoyed that he wasn't helping out with the baby, but then, I've seen this happen in RL so I wasn't that surprised, more suprised in the way it was portrayed, like.

He drove me up the wall. I just felt like he was an immature child who didn't want to take responsibility for anything. Like caring for his newborn baby, helping out his wife, taking interest in his teenage daughter...

“I’m afraid of falling,” she said. “I have wings,” he whispered.

Perhaps they were right putting love into books. Perhaps it could not live anywhere else.

I think we all do.

His character pissed me off most of the time. He reminds me of people who don't know that they're being infuriating because they're so used to acting that way.

I don't think I've ever hated the letters F I N & E in that order as much as I do right now.
I was seriously angry at both her parents, it was deep.
I was feeling pretty relieved when by the end of the first chapter Auden was leaving her mother's house but when she came to her dad's that feeling had just vanished.
A book. He was finishing a book.
Must I mention that is the most pathetic excuse ever to neglect his 'family'.
I admire Heidi but I must say what was she thinking?

“A young girl is a creature of dreams, my lord.
A woman with one foot in the world of fantasy,
searching for the face of true love in every handsome boy she sees.”
