Lyle House

This thread is basically about the Lyle House 'mission'. Discuss the Lyle House staff; Nurses Mrs. Talbot, Miss Van Dop and Mrs. Abdo; Dr. Gill and Dr. Davidoff' and Chloe's family; her father and Aunt Lauren. What are they exactly doing to the kids? How does this work with Samuel Lyle's original experimentation?

yay discussions! Ummm Lyle house's mission was basicly to cure the kids there but they disguised their powers w/ mental illness's and behavioral(sp) problems. They didnt succeed and I think Chloe and her group are much more powerful than the normal.

I don't think they're trying to "cure" the kids. I think their mission is something much worse. Like they want to harness their power, or run experiments on them or something.

“I’m afraid of falling,” she said. “I have wings,” he whispered.

Perhaps they were right putting love into books. Perhaps it could not live anywhere else.

I think the original intent was for Dr. Lyle to help but I think he just went mad with the experiments. But yea the new docs seem a little crazier.

Lyle house is so scary I wouldnt want to stay there! and as for helping the kids I dont think so, what was with the dead supernatural bodies in the basement? and shooting at the kids when they ran away with tranquilisers and not to mention whatever’s happened to Liz...But its weird because Aunt Laurens behind it all as well and she does seem to care about Chloe so :dunno: its all very strange...

Aunt Lauren is shady. I do not trust her.

The doctor's are crazy... I wonder what the experimentation was for though. Like, the spirit in the basement said that Dr. Lyle was trying to make life easier or something like that.

But i think that the doctors now are trying to manipulate the kids' powers.

I don't trust Aunt Lauren either. When she betrayed them, i was like WTF??? It was such a surprise. And it makes me think if Chloe's dad knows about what's going on.

I suspected something about her aunt and dad too, left her in that house was not normal, there are better places and if they were suspecting schizophrenia they shouldnt've taken her there

not the dad, he's too distant in her life to be any kind of "bad guy"... i mean he's not even a parental figure to her, not really...

yea her aunt knew more about it than her dad. Her dad may not have know about any of it. He probably just believed what ever Aunt Lauren and the other doctors told him.

i don't think her dad knows about any of this stuff. the supernatural community doesn't really let humans into that world (of course, necros tend to be the exception). so i would bet her mom never told him anything.

but i think all of the doctors and everyone involved in the edison group is not to be trusted.
