^ I do the same thing! I just realized a couple months ago that I do that, but I'm pretty sure I've done it subconsciously for years. I usually just sit there for like 10 minutes after finishing a book thinking about it.

Mood: Living in Regency England through Miss Austen

I just finished reading Wake as an e Book a couple of days ago. I don't know if it makes a different, reading a 'book' in a Kindle or on the web, but it did have an effect on me.
Reading it online wasn't as fun. As Lexie says, you tend to think about a book after putting it down and reading it. With Wake I didn't. I felt kind of annoyed after reading it, as my eyes were sore, the words were way to big, and I was flipping a page, I was scrolling down with my mouse. It felt weird and strange to be doing so. I think that's why I didn't enjoy the story as much, because reading it online didn't bring it together on that personal level.
And I'm prepared to go all Fahrenheit 451 on this. I'll secretly hoard books and trade them on the black market if I have to, I'm never going techno on books!

How badass. An intriguing idea indeed.
:ninja:

With most books I read I usually flip back and forth comparing different bits which is another reason why pages win for me.

I have a couple e-books and It's not the same. Aha I like having the book in my hands.

Plus, you can't see e-books. I love waking up in the morning and seeing all my books on the shelf. I know it's weird lol, but I don't care.

Real books are just SO much better!
