^ Lol, you should. It was pretty good. (:
I finished Jessica's Guide to Dating on the Dark Side. Not the best book I've read this year. It's actually probably my least favorite as of now. I
didn't like the main character. I actually found her a bit annoying. The ending was too predictable and rushed.
And I started The Hunger Games. I'm only on like chapter 6, but so far it is AMAZING. And I love it! The only thing I have to ask is when does
Catching Fire come out? I hope it's soon!

Ahhh, I have to read it now! I guess a month and a half isn't too long of a wait. I've waited longer. :P
So, I finished The Hunger Games! I knew it was going to be awesome ever since I read the reviews months ago, but I can't believe I waited so long to
pick it up!!!!! It was much more than I was expecting. The plot was addicting, the story sucked me in, and the characters were extremely likeable.
Well, the good ones were anyway. ^^
I haven't read a page-turner like this in quite awhile, and I feel kind of reluctant to pick anything else up.
Haha, but I'm probably going to start Vampire Academy tonight.

Finished Vampire Academy. Awesome start to a series. I'm so glad I've finally gotten around to reading it.
I started My Sister's Keeper last night. So far, it's great. And sad. :[

I can't wait to get Frostbite! I really need to catch up on these series.
I finished My Sister's Keeper last night.
Amazing book. The ending was sad, but I guess it's hard coming up with a good ending to a book about a girl with cancer that pleases everyone. Despite
that, I thought the ending was perfect. I heard they changed it in the movie which now upsets me.
I have to read more of Jodi Picoult's stuff now. :D
I started The Host, so far it's a little confusing and tedious to read because she's explaining everything. I heard that it picks up later on, so I'm
going to keep reading.

Yes you do! The VA series just gets better and better trust me shadow kiss wow it was just awesome im excited to see what you think to them when you
get round to reading them.
Yeah the end of my sisters keeper is so amazing and just ironic it was like they got what they wished for all along Kate to live and Anna to give Kate
body parts but it come at a cost. It was also ironic because they put so much focus on kates going to die kates going to die that Anna was the one who
was took from them. It was just an amazing ending that makes it stand out from other cancer stories. Yeah im so mad that they didn’t make the most of
this story and keep the ending how it was I want to know why they felt the need to change it because even though the film is suppose to be really good
I feel like it could have been amazing.
I’m a big fan of Jodi Picoult I’ve loved all of her stuff my favourites are my sisters keeper, the pact, nineteen minutes, plain truth and change of
heart.
Yeah I thought the host was good not my most favourite book in the world but good, but man did it take a while for me to get into it, but it does pick
up after a while.

I got the next two books of VA. I can't wait to read them. I absolutely love Dimitri. hahaaa
Gosh, the My Sister's Keeper ending. So perfect. It was sad, but I don't think I would've felt so deeply about the story if it was different. (That
sounds cheesy, but yeah.) When the dad found her, I cried so hard. Jodi Picoult
is excellent in writing in different perspectives and voices. I got Nineteen Minutes. It sounded good, so I'm planning on reading that soon.
I'm in the middle of the The Host. It's gotten interesting. The beginning was so boring, I almost put it down. My friend actually ruined the ending
for me. She though I had finished it when I mentioned the book so she just blurted it out. Hahaha, I was angry, but DESPITE that I'm still going to
finish it. I wouldn't feel right if I didn't. :P

Me too Dimitri's one of my favourite fictional guys.
Gosh I know I cried so much reading my sisters keeper I watched the film the other day and its good v. different to the book though the films more
about kate the books way better but its still worth a watch. Oh nineteen minutes is really awesome im sure you'll love that too.
Yeah the host does get better, haha im like that too even if I know the ending I have to still read it!

Well, I finished The Host yesterday but was too lazy to post a review.
So basically I thought it was a good story, it kept me reading. Then I got to the ending, and I just didn't like it anymore.
*SPOILER*
I hated that they put Wanda into some "pretty-fragile-looking" body. To me, it just seemed way too convenient.
I didn't feel fond of any of the characters. Wanda reminded me too much of Bella, and Ian and Jared reminded me too much of Edward. I don't know if I
was just being paranoid, but that's how I saw it. And I'm not a fan of Twilight, so it was a little annoying for me.
Overall though, I thought it was pretty good. Stephenie Meyer sure knows how to tell a story. I especially liked the meaning behind the story. Like
what really attracts a person to another, their outside appearance or the kind of person they are?
And I started Ink Exchange by Melissa Marr. I finished half of it last night. Ughh, I do not like her writing style, but I'll finish it and Fragile
Eternity so I can take them off my 'to-read' list. :D

Update: I finished Ink Exchange. Not one of my favorites. I'll just say that. The story is interesting though, and I have Fragile Eternity so I'm
going to go ahead and read that after Glass Houses as planned.
I'm almost done with Glass Houses! I really like it. Ahhh, I can't believe I've never bothered to read these series before. I always saw them at
bookstores and libraries. I'm glad I started reading them. ;D

I'm familiar with the Hamlet story by Shakespeare, but I have never read it.
So for me, Ophelia by Lisa Klein was less of an adaption, and instead more of a stand-alone story. So I have no idea where I stand about the marriage
scene or not having the 'to be or not to be' scene.
I liked the story because it was sort of like historical fiction (even though it's not), and I absolutely love historical fiction. I thought the story
was well-rounded, starting from when Ophelia was a child and taking us through the years she grew up into a young women. She became a character I
really liked because I felt so bad for her, but at the same time I thought Lisa Klein made a very strong character.
In the original play, I think Ophelia is supposed to commit suicide(?), so in the book I liked how Lisa Klein twisted that around so she lived and
made it her own story. Towards the end, I started enjoying the book even more when she got to the nunnery.
So yeah, it was a book I really enjoyed reading, compared to other books I've read this year. Like, it's not my all-time favorite or anything, but one
of my favorites this year.

I finished Graceling! I thought it was pretty good. I really enjoyed Katsa, I thought she was a great heroine and main character. The story didn't
leave me hanging on the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen next, but it was pleasant reading it. Lol, that's the best way I can
explain it.
And I'm going to start Strange Angels tonight.

I think you'll enjoy Graceling. The romance wasn't so clique I thought. (:
And I finished Strange Angels. I really liked it. I'll definitely be
getting Betrayals when it comes out. The ending left a lot of questions to be answered, but that's okay. Only 3 months to wait! Oh, and I loved the
characters. Graves is my favorite. :D
I'm going to start Frostbite by Richelle Mead tonight.
Everyone keeps saying The Summoning is really good, so I can't wait to read it. I got it already, and I'm going to add it to be read right after
Nineteen Minutes.

UPDATE: I've been in a reading frenzy, and I'm happy to say I'm now caught up on the Vampire Academy series. My goodness, the ending for Shadow
Kiss..... I am frantic to read Blood Promise. I'm glad it comes out soon.
I'm going to start Veronika Decides to Die by Paulo Coelho tonight. It's a small book, so mayyybee I'll be able to finish it by tomorrow so I can
start Nineteen Minutes. :D

I haven't updated in awhile on the books I've read, so I'm just going to do that in a gigantic post. :D
I'll just post my little review on each one.
Veronika Decides to Die: "I really just enjoyed the philosophical musings and thoughts of the characters rather than the story itself."
This was a different book. It's definitely not YA, so I wouldn't recommend it to those who mainly read books centered for younger people.
Nineteen Minutes: "I found this book to be incredibly thought-provoking. I had to put it down every once in awhile to think and just clear my
head. Every teenager and parent should read this.
I would've given it five stars, but the story did seem to get a bit wordy, which made it hard to read at times. Some of the writing seemed unnecessary
and could've been cut out, in my opinion.
Still, Jodi Picoult has a way of writing that can make the most craziest thing seem realistic, but in this case, the story was nothing but real. I
don't know where she gets these insights into other people's worlds and minds."
AMAZING read. I absolutely loved it obviously. It was incredibly long, but it
was all worth it.
The Summoning: "A great story. It was different from other supernatural stories I've read.
The only thing I didn't really like was the characters. They came off as kind of flat to me. Hopefully, in the later books they'll seem more
dimensional.
Other than that, a great start to the Darkest Powers series."
I would recommend this to anyone into supernatural YA books.
Along For the Ride: "This is a nice summer read, written in Sarah Dessen's typical style. The characters are complex and believable, and I think
there's something that every teen can relate to in the story."
This isn't my favorite Sarah Dessen book, but it was definitely worth reading.
And right now I'm reading Killer by Sara Shepard. I'm kind of reading it slowly because I know the ending will leave me wanting more but the next
Pretty Little Liar book comes out in January. Ahhhh, I hate that. D:
