I finished it! Amazing.
I can't wait for the next book. I know I said I didn't like Tatiana before, but now I kind of like her. I feel kind of bad that she died and that note
Rose got from her made me like her.
I'm so glad Adrian got more scenes in this book but now I'm starting to prefer Dimitri for Rose. I thought it was really sweet when he fought those
guards before they arrested Rose.
I bet in the spin-off Adrian is going to be Sydney's love interest. Anyone remember the part when she said "He's cute"? Haha, I think that was a hint
from Richelle.
Anyway, overall good book. This is my favorite VA book after Shadow Kiss. I thought it would be better than Shadow Kiss when they broke Victor out of
jail, but eh, the book slowed down after that.
The ending made me mad. "They execute traitors"? ugh. Sucks Rose got framed/setup.
I wish Rose showed Abe the note before the book ended. Would have loved to know what he thought. Ah, well...guess I'll have to wait until December.

I agree with you Strigoi. I didn't like how Richelle ended it. And, this book mad me like Tatianna more too.

^ Yeah, haha. I hated her in Shadow Kiss and the beginning of this book, but now that I understand why she voted for the 16-year-old guardian law, I
kinda like her.
The law where every dhampir should be a guardian would have been much worse so now I'm glad she did that. Really sucks that she died.
I wonder who killed her and set up Rose? Ideas, anyone?

i never forgave her for trying to take Dimka away. And also because even when she always seems to be against the system, she keeps coming back to it.
IF I were here I had stopped going into court a long time ago, she's living in the human world anyway , why keep comign to the meetings... etc?

i just finished it and i loved it....i cant figure out who killed tatiana though...i kinda expect it to be victor cuz he's still out and about but i
think that would be to obvious....i am such a sap for romance and this book brought me to tears like 3 times cuz i was sad about how dimka kept
rejecting rose...it made me so sad! i wish that christian and lissa would just kiss and make up already....and as soon as they mentioned that lissa
couldn't get a seat at the counil because of the quorum thing and then they mentioned her dad in vegas i was all 'She has a sibling!!! she has a
sibling!!!' i figured it out right away. i personally loved the book alot and absolutly CANNOT WAIT for the next one to come out....does anybody know
when that is supposed to be? lol

I think it comes out at the end of this year!!  which is nice!!
I just finished it too!! Loved it, I'm also trying to figure out who killed Tatiana... someone who knew she knew about lissa's sibling maybe? and
didn't want her to enable Lissa to take her place on the council?
Poor Rose! How could Dimka say those things to her?!! He must still have feelings for her, he has to!! ... and he is still amazingly protective of
her!

^ I know! This book was so amazing! Definitely better than Blood Promise but Shadow Kiss is still my favorite.

^^I agree, wayyy better than Blood Promise - I think this one was my fave of the series.
I'm kinda thinking Lissa's going to be the next queen. I predict it's going to be her vote that acquits Rose at the trial, now that she has a sibling
and all.

I just finished it, i read it in about 24 hours, and holy crap. So many things happened!
*I was surprised that they were able to bring back Dimitri so easily and fast in the book. I thought it wasn't going to happen until the end and be
the main focus of the book. I'm glad that RM was able to fit in more stuff than just Dimitiri.
*Adrian is so amazing! I'm so torn with who I want for Rose, or for who I want for myself! LOL I think both Dimitri and Adrian are amazing men. They
are both so sincere and kind. I think Dimitiri does still have feelings for Rose, he's just pushing her away since their lives had drastically
changed. I'm sure he thinks in her best interest.
*The Queen. I didn't like her, but at the end, that letter totally redeemed her. I think that even though she was mean, she was way nice, judging by
what she said in the letter.
*I definenetly think Rose was framed, and the Queen must have had an idea something was going to happen with her. She wrote in the letter something
that if Rose was reading it, something bad had happened.
*I think that the death of the Queen and the new knowledge of a half-bro/sis of Lissa is all tied together and has something to do with what Sydney
was talking about files being stolen. I'm thinking maybe Viktor might have something to do with it. He's not easily going to fade into the life with
his brother.
There's my little analysis. I'll shut up now.

Adrian was just awesome in this book, but I think now I'm starting to prefer Dimitri for Rose.
Still love Adrian though.

When i think about it, Dimitri did make Rose a better person, and she is better when he's around. But idk. I love Adrian and I think he's so sweet. I
don't want him to get hurt. He needs an amazingly happy ending.

I just finished it last night or today I'm not sure and OMG my head is spinning and I can't function anymore I can't wait for Last sacrifice!!!!
I have a feeling that Daniella is the one who killed her. She was eerily nice to Rose. She's the one who set her up.
and Dimitri wow I'm so happy! He did annoy me at first when he was like I don't want to see Rose and whatever.
@nissie maybe she wants Lissa to be the next queen? After she finds her half brother or sister or whatever??

Oooh I forgot to add something about Tatiana I don't know I still don't like her and I can't trust her I keep thinking about tha tarot card reading
and how that someone will seem sincere but they're not and how Rose wil go on a journey I don't know. Also, I love Abe I think he's the best father
for Rose I mean they're so much alike
Oh and of course Dimitri loves Rose. There's no question about it. Didn't you see how he fought for herr and protected her when the guardians were
coming to arrest her??
