Ugh, not even Jace. Alex Pettyfer should stick with I Am Number Four and Beastly and never come near another ya adaptation, Im so tired of his name
always being tossed around, like he's the only blonde actor in hollywood.
But I agree, the guy who plays Peeta has to have that boyish innocence thing going on.

I'm in LOVE with the Hunger Games series!! And TMI!! Just like I used to be in love with the Twilight series, until the Twilight movies came out. They
really ruined that love for me. haha. I'm hoping these movies won't ruin the love I have for these two series.
Anyways, thanks for the info about it. I'm kinda excited, but also don't want it to come too soon. Lol.

^^unsocialbutterfly Lol now that we're talking about his previous released movie...I kind of agree with you. But I just can't picture anyone else as
Jace when I read the book.
Well since no one can't think of anyone as perfect for Peeta, could they just casts an undiscovered actor? I'd like to see a new face anyway lol

My friend's obsessed with him, but I don't really care for him much.

i do love his tattoos!
And yeah, they should get some new blonde actors

Yeah yeah when he was younger he got this hot badass stuff going on...and now he seems like a loner. I don't know if it's just me.
And for the Katniss role, have you all heard this Jennifer Lawrence girl from Winter's Bone(I haven't watch it) has been offered?

^ Well she hasn't been offered the role yet but apparently she's the top contender. At this point though I'm pretty sure she'll be Katniss.
I haven't seen Winter's Bone yet but people say she's a great actress and she got nominated for an Oscar so I guess she can't be too bad?
I mean, if they dye her hair I can kinda see her as Katniss. I'll need to see her act before I can fully judge though.

Man! Disappointed. She's way to told and to tall for katniss. She's supposed to be little and stuff for all that tree climbing, lol! Oh well.

Well to me that triology is one of the saddest books that i have ever read, and violent, but at the same time it's unputdownable!!!

So, I watched Winter's Bone finally and I have to say - she's a pretty good actress.
Definitely deserved that Oscar nomination, IMO.
I know everyone is saying that she doesn't fit the description of Katniss but she has talent. I'd honestly rather someone who can act than someone who
just fits the physical description and can't act their way out of a paper bag (like Kristen Stewart in Twilight). She can act people! As long
as she dyes her hair brown I think she'll actually be pretty good as Katniss.
I still prefer Hailee Steinfield as Katniss though. She fits the physical description AND can act. She would've been perfect.
I definitely don't mind Jennifer Lawrence too much though.

I'm very happy that Jennifer is playing katniss. She's a great actress, and I'll take great acting over looks any day. Plus, after they make her over,
I'm sure she'll be a dang good katniss.

I actually like her better than Hailee. I'm excited to see who they cast as Peeta. I don't really have any favorites at the moment, but I do NOT want
to see Alex Pettyfer as Peeta. I've heard that Hunter Parrish is one of the front runners, and I wouldn't mind him.

As long as she can act, they can change her looks. Can't wait to see who they choose for the rest of the cast.

I read somewhere that Hunter Parrish said he'd be up for the role as Peeta if Jennifer Lawrence was cast.
I didn't like the idea of him as Peeta at first but he's actually really growing on me. I haven't seen him in anything so I don't really know about
his acting skills but physically I think he'd be great as Peeta.

I think Hunter Perish would be a better Peeta than Alex Pettyfer.
I haven't seen Jennifer Lawrence act but, she doesn't really seem to fit what I thought Katniss would be like.
I can't wait to see this movie come to the big screen, I hope they don't blow it.

I like the idea of Alex as Jace in TMI ... but not as Peeta!! hunter fits better IMO, although he's a little old for the part... but, Jennifer is too
so I guess it's best having them both a bit old rather than one being a completely different age to the other.

I don't think Alex is a very good actor anyways. I would be pretty upset to see him in either movie.

I haven't seen him in anything, so I can't speak in regards to his acting... and if he really can't act, I'd much prefer someone who doesn't fit the
description quite as well, but can act.
sometimes I think people get too caught up in what actors look like, instead of their acting abilities. what does it matter what they look like?
everyone imagines book characters completely differently. personally I can deal with someone who doesn't quite fit the image in my head, but I can't
deal with it when they can't act their way out of a paper bag.
