People have been telling, for quite some time now, that I need to read the Revelation series by Randi Cooley Wilson. With every book, though, they’ve also told me that there is a huge cliffhanger. So, naturally, I decided to wait until all the books were released to read it. Let me tell you, it was worth the wait. This book was AMAZING! I’m so excited to share this with you today!!!
The star of this book, by far, was Asher. OH. MY. GOD. He was so flipping hot! Asher is definitely on my top book boyfriends ever list. He made this entire book. The only thing that I would have asked for were some more swoony scenes between Asher and Eve. I felt like I was waiting for something special that never quite made it on the page. Not that they didn’t have their swoony moments, I just was waiting for something a little more.
The first 75% of this book was absolutely amazing. I loved all of the characters so much! The only thing that slightly bothered me was the information overload. I felt that, at times, the book could drone on a little bit about Heaven, Hell, and the gargoyles history. I just wish that that would have been slightly tampered down. On the other hand, the book did give a lot of background about what was going on and who Eve was.
The last 25% of the book was very action packed, but it did feel a little rushed in some areas. I will say, though, that there is a BIG CLIFFHANGER. Thank GOD I have the second book ready to read! My mouth dropped open at the end of the book….I was SO NOT expecting that!
Overall, I loved this book. I’m very excited for what’s to come in the next four books. This is a steamy, action packed, hunk filled series that I highly encourage all NA and paranormal fans to go read RIGHT NOW!
