When you’ve hidden behind a mask for so long, would you reveal yourself for love? Vernal, the first novel in The Royal Protector Academy series is a dangerously exciting and darkly romantic tale that will take your breath away.
Can you tell us about your newest book, Vernal, in 30 words or less?
Vernal, the first novel in The Royal Protector Academy series is a dangerously exciting and darkly romantic tale of forbidden that will take your breath away.
What was your favorite scene to write?
This is always a difficult question for me *clears throat*. I think the very first scene in the book where Tristan and Serena meet is my favorite.
What was the hardest scene to edit out?
Ack! I don’t even want to admit this for fear of readers stoning me – lol, but there were some scenes where a few of the characters from The Revelation Series made guest appearances. Sadly, the scenes didn’t push the story forward and I was asked to edit them out. I may use them as bonus material though.
How long does Vernal take place after Restoration? Or are they set in the same time?
The Royal Protector Academy (RPA) is a spin-off of the best selling Revelation Series. Both can be read as stand-alone series, or RPA can be read after TheRevSeries. Vernal takes place twenty years later Restoration, the Revelation Series finale takes place.
Are we going to get to see all of the characters from the Revelation series? Do they interlap with the new characters???
Yes! Some of your favorites from The Revelation Series will make guest appearances. There are some inter-lapping plot points and storylines in Vernal. Mainly clan history and family ties. That said, Vernal, and the RPA trilogy is a completely separate story on it’s own.
How many books will be in this new series?
RPA is a trilogy so only three.
Level of hotness?
Hot. Steamy. Schmexy. Everything you love about a Randi Cooley Wilson New Adult Paranormal Romance. So hot, hot, hot.
Are we going to like Tristan just as much as Asher?!
I truly hope so. Some readers, maybe even more. For TheRevSeries fans, Tristan is this amazing combination of Gage Gallagher and Asher St. Michael wrapped up in his own brand of hotness.
Are you going to continue the Revelation series? Seriously….I’m GOING to get more Asher….right?!
LOL. At the moment, I have no plans to. The Royal Protector Academy trilogy is my olive branch to readers who have been hitting me hard with requests for more Revelation Series books.
Are you working on anything else?
Yes! I am also getting ready to release Stolas, the first novel within the Dark Soul Series. It’s also New Adult Paranormal, however it’s much more dark, gritty and sexier than my other two series. Also in 2018, I will be releasing Poison Rain: Gage Gallagher’s stand-alone book.
What was the best book you’ve read recently?
I just finished Dirty by Kylie Scott and devoured it.
What is in your TBR pile?
I’m not sure there is enough time to tell you – lol. Say You Love Me by J.S. Cooper is on there. Immortals by Ednah Walters. Slow Burn by K. Bromberg. Witch Dance by Elizabeth Burgess. The Blackburne Legacy by Apryl Baker. The list goes on…it’s never-ending.
