Beach Reads Week: Top Ten Books to Read at the Beach

Hi everyone! I have this week’s Top Ten Tuesday for you all. This meme is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish and today’s topic is Beach Reads Week: Top Ten Books to Read at the Beach. I’m being totally honest here, I don’t read at the beach. When we go to the beach, we actually have stuff planned out, and reading isn’t one of them. It usually consists of going out to lunch, checking out the shops, and walking along the beach. I live about an hour and a half (maybe less) away from the beach, so we’ll actually be going there quite a bit this Summer, especially since I think we’re going to have a really hot summer. The Beach makes me think of a contemporary theme, though, so I’m going to share 10 of my favorite lighter contemporary books.

  1. Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins – Be sure to bring the whole series with you! It’s that good!
  2. Tell Me Three Things by Julie Buxbaum
  3. Such a Rush by Jennifer Echols
  4. The Deal by Elle Kennedy (more NA than YA)
  5. Sea Swept by Nora Roberts (adult contemporary)
  6. Wait for You by J. Lynn (more NA than YA)
  7. From this Moment on by Bella Andre (adult contemporary)
  8. Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell
  9. Hooked by Liz Fichera
  10. How Zoe Made Her Dreams (Mostly) Come True by Sarah Strohmeyer

  1. Great list that I could see reading by the pool or on the beach. I’ve read many of them except 2, 9 and 10.
