Amazon pulls Macmillan Titles
1Feb2010 Posted by: Nikki Filed under: NewsGiant online bookstore, Amazon dot com, has pulled all titles published by Macmillan and its subsidiaries. Core Economics reports that the dispute is over ebook pricing. Although the details are still unclear, it is believed that Macmillan want to charge more for their ebooks and recieve a greater share than Amazon is willing to give.
Unfortunately, instead of just pulling Macmillans ebook titles, Amazon has pulled all Macmillan titles – books, kindles, and ebooks.
Authors and readers alike are, no doubt, infuriated by this. We hope the dispute is resolved quickly, and in the best interest of all parties.
Do you think Amazon was right to pull all Macmillan titles? We’d love to hear your opinion…

Amazon retracted that action and agreed and change the e-book price to $14.99.
